TPUF Mission:

We aim to improve food security, urban biodiversity and environmental education through community engagement in Thorncliffe Park.

An edible community rich in biodiversity, built collectively by local residents.

TPUF Core Values:

  • Food Security – Increasing access to fresh, healthy, and culturally appropriate food by growing locally, reducing barriers, and supporting informed, nourishing food choices.
  • Environmental Stewardship – Protecting and enhancing urban ecosystems by creating habitats that provide essential ecological services, increasing biodiversity, and fostering meaningful connections between people and nature.
  • Community Building – Strengthening inclusivity and connecting communities by creating welcoming spaces for residents, volunteers, partners, and stakeholders to engage and participate.
